MIDIAN was a 1995-96 metal/alternative/punk band based in Parkersburg, WV.
This site is a legacy to the band, written by its lead vocalist (me), Tony Breeden. All views and opinions on this site are mine, but represent the truth to the best of my knowledge.
One thing that I learned through my research is that things get lost along the way. Once upon a time, MIDIAN was probably one of the best documented bands of its kind in West Virginia. We had videos, live recordings, three demo tapes, and even a band log in which I recorded every song, show, practice, lyric and flier. Alas, I entrusted the log to Jamie Nichols (the guitar player) and he apparently lost it somewhere. Likewise, there seem to be no video recordings, no live recordings, and one entire demo (Time) is missing. We did salvage some promo shots, some fliers, all of the Toward Zero demo and half of the Darker demo. The rest has been reconstructed from memory.
